There are no feature differences between the two. You can upgrade the hard drive regardless of which PS3 console you buy, generally speaking the Super Slim's hardware is cooler/safer in the long run but if you don't like the way it looks the PS3 Slim is a major upgrade to the fat variations.
It started with the original PS3 (now referred to as the Fat model), then came the PlayStation Slim in 2009 and finally the so-called Super Slim, which arrived in late 2012.
Three versions of the Super Slim model were revealed: one with a 500 GB hard drive, a second with a 250 GB hard drive which was not available in PAL regions, and a third with a 12 GB flash storage that was available in PAL regions, and in Canada.
The Super Slim models have additional security measures that make it difficult to install CFW directly. However, the PS3 Super Slim models can still be jailbroken using HEN (Homebrew Enabler) or HAN (Homebrew Enabler for non-CFW compatible models).
Could the PS3 or PS4 stream 4K? All PS3 and Launch and Slim Models of PS4 has no 4K support in hardware. The PS4 Pro can display 4K from supported games and Video Streams from apps such as Netflix, it however can not steam 4K video feed to Twitch or Youtube.
