App Privacy Report is designed to give you more visibility into how apps access your data. If an app appears to be accessing your data in a way or at a time that you didn't expect, you can update your privacy settings or revoke permission.
Find your security & privacy settings
- On your phone with Android 13 and up: Tap Settings. Security and privacy.
- On your phone with Android 12 and lower: For security settings: Tap Settings. Security for security settings. For privacy settings: Tap Settings. Privacy for privacy settings.
While this is specific to iPhone, there is a similar app privacy function on Android called Data safety. It will give you the same type of information and will roll out over the next few weeks. Check out this guide to learn more about Google Play's Data safety section.

| Audio Data | The user's voice or sound recordings |
You can allow some apps to use various features on your device, such as your camera or contacts list. An app will send a notification to ask for permission to use features on your device, which you can Allow or Deny. You can also change permissions for a single app or by permission type in your device's settings.
