After a deadly pandemic sweeps through New York, it's up to Agents to save what remains. Complete missions, explore the Dark Zone, and fight back enemy factions alone or with 3 friends. Experience a full endgame offering you new PvP and PvE modes.
However, like the previous games, the developers drew upon some real-world events to build the premise. The game was based in part on Operation Dark Winter, the code name for a catastrophic bio-terrorist attack simulation the U.S. Government conducted in 2001.
Experience while progressing the main story, as the player works to restore Manhattan, defeat the organized threats against it, and find a way to stop the Green Poison.
On 10 June 2018, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 was announced to be released on 15 March 2019, with the game set to take place within Washington, D.C. after it falls into anarchy, and six months after the events of Tom Clancy's The Division.
